Always interesting poking around Reddit to read how others deal with their daily battles. Today I came across this article On Reddit that mentioned something I’ve never heard of before: Fail to Wire.
Apparently it simply refers to a network card that goes into “bypass” mode when powered off, meaning that it acts like a network wire and simply connects the two jacks on the NIC together via relays.
One thing the IT industry provides is new and interesting (sometimes not so interesting) challenges for those that have an insatiable appetite for knowledge.
